YOUTH LISTENING CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

A listening campaign is a focused effort to build community and identify concerns and priorities in a specific organization, neighborhood, or workplace. Listening sessions are aimed at encouraging people to talk about how they experience life in their community and identify issues that they care about.

Overall, the purpose of listening is to:


Ideally, a meeting has between 5 and 15 participants and lasts between 25 and 45 minutes. These can be run as a stand-alone event, or organized to coincide with another group meeting. We are currently looking for groups of youth between the ages of 15-24.
